The Government have extended the furlough scheme to include new starters

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme has been extended to now include employees who started a new job at the beginning on March 2020. The scheme has been extended to 19 March 2020 from the original date of 28 February 2020 meaning any employee who started a new job up to 19 March 2020 can now be included in the scheme.
