Increases in the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage rates for April 2019

The following rates are for the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage. The rates are updated every April:

April 2018 (current rate)

• £7.83 25 and over
• £7.38 21 to 24
• £5.90 18 to 20
• £4.20 under 18
• £3.70 apprentice

April 2019 (new rate)

• £8.21 25 and over
• £7.70 21 to 24
• £6.15 18 to 20
• £4.35 under 18
• £3.90 apprentice
